Rock Fuhe Grandparents Happy school

福和社區位於台灣的第三大城市臺中市，在2010年首次招募海外志工來到福和，今年期待繼續有海外志工來「搖滾」爺爺奶奶，帶來快樂並再度讓社區煥然一新，尤其是一些獨居或弱勢的長輩。

座落在福和社區的長青快樂學堂於2012年8月開始，週一到週五早上11點到下午5點，學堂有身心理的健康促進課程像是唱歌課程、下棋課程、有氧課程以及定期量血壓，長青快樂學堂像是真的學校，長輩們可以在這裡有很棒的社交生活，讓他們更健康、更快樂更有活力，我們將會與快樂學堂長輩有一些活動。

Fuhe community located in Taichung city which is the third large city in Taiwan. Ihe first time for Fuhe to bring in international volunteers was 2010.  This year, to last the happiness to the elder, Hondao will hold Fuhe Internatioanl Wokcamp to invite internatioanl youth come together to rock grandpa and grandma, bring happiness to them and refresh this community once again. Especially those elders who reside alone or disability.

Fuhe Grandparents Happy school located in Fuhe community, a service offered by Hondao, was started on Aug. 2012 in Fuhe community. The school open from 11:00 to 17: 00 on weekdays which has some health-promotion programs consists of physical and psychological aspects like Singing lesson, Chess lesson, Aerobics lesson and Routine testing of blood sugar levels. Fuhe Grandparents Happy school like a real school the elders can have a great social life. Make them healthier, happier and more energy, and we will have some acticities with them to have fun together.

工作內容

1→ 關懷長者並讓志工能有機會服務長者與之互動，像是舉辦長者同樂會、幫長者大掃除粉刷牆面

2→ 協助美化社區做些勞動工作像是畫牆、除草

3→ 籌畫文化活動，志工將透過表演等方式呈現自己國家，並和居民互動

4→ 跨文化的團隊生活，學習不同文化

Work content

1→ To care for the elder, and volunteers will have opportunity to interact with them, such as elderly funfest,cleaning elderly house or help them to painting the wall.
2→ Do some service works such as paint  a wall and weed grass to beautify the community.
3→ Organize culture events and all the volunteers will be request to present their countries or do some performances and have some fun together with the locals.
4→ Live with oversea youth to hace a cross-culture group life, and learn from each culture.
