Lights Up the Life with Color

2009年在弘道與願景青年行動網的促成下，西勢社區首度辦理了國際工作營，期間打造了一座國際公園，捲動數十位社區青年投入志願服務工作，提昇青年的社區認同，獲得國際文化交流的學習。

2010年、2011年也持續辦理國際工作營部分，在2010年為西勢社區打造了獨一無二的露天掃帚博物館、彩繪有機農場農舍；2011年打造了西勢入口意像牆、掃帚文化櫥窗，並作到了跨社區服務，今年也將國際微孝營擴大辦理，變成福興鄉老人照顧互助聯盟國際微孝營，青年志工們除了將活力帶入西勢社區，也把活力分享給鄰近社區，今年由你來注入青年的活力，讓長輩們微笑!

Hondao and Sishih Community has held workcamp in Fusing District for four years, and brought great and positive impacts in every workcamp. The workcamp was planned by cadres of Sishih Community and service in Sishih Community at the first beginning. However, the camp held last year were planned by not only cadres but almost every resident, and service in the Fusing Community Union, which Sishih, Weichung, Shewei and Fanshe community are members. The workcmap is a big activity for these residents. The workcampers from oversea and local youth gather here together to interact and have fun with the elderly and residents, bring so much differences to them with vitality and improve multi-culture understanding. By taking part of these activities, workcmapers could realize what elder’s life and concern about the Global Aging and Aging in Place issue.

This year, the workcmapers are very welcome to take part in the Fusing International Workcamp with the local youth and enthusiastic residents to create a different and unforgettable volunteer experience this summer in Fusing Community Union. You are very welcome to join us NOW!!

活動內容

(1)高齡者的照顧關懷服務：讓青年志工透過與社區長者的互動，提早對高齡者有正向的觀念與認識，體認活躍老化意義，促進代間交流，預計安排四次服務(每次3小時)，與在地長者進行各項活動，如：寫書法、團康活動、西勢掃帚體驗…等。

(2)協助將社區內閒置空間活化計畫：透過景觀綠美化及空間改造，將西勢社區進行景觀佈置。

(3)促成各國與臺灣在地文化交流，以社區傳統技藝、台灣傳統習俗…等，傳遞臺灣農村聚落的風情，增進國際夥伴對臺灣土地及發展有更深層的認識與了解。

Work content

(1)Elderly Care: to realize how OLD is like and improve generation understanding by interact and accompany with the elderly in Fusing community Union. You will join some activities with them like Chinese calligraphy, broom making etc.

(2)Learn from Elderly: some elderly with variety life experience to share and skills to teach that you will discover surprise they are the treasure you can dig.

(3)To decorate and beauty the abandon space of Sisihih Community.

(4)To promote friendship/understanding/solidarity among local people and cross-national volunteers.
